Attention fans of Harry Potter.
This is not a drill.
A new Harry Potter book will be published this summer.
The book, called Harry Potter and the Cursed Children Part I & II taking the story of Harry, Ron and Hermione in which the epilogue left, according to the author J.K. Rowling Pottermore website.
As you no doubt remember clearly, the final book of the series' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was closed at the scene taking place 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts and Voldemort's fall.
postscript brings epic story full-circle, depicting beloved characters standing on Platform Nine and Three Quarters with their families. Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione nostalgia wave goodbye as their children ride the Hogwarts Express and the head of the school of magic.
The book concludes with a reference to the most famous symbols of the series': "The scar is not sad Harry for nineteen years Everything was good .."
From the title, Cursed son Harry certainly hinted that the peace and happiness of the parents has been disrupted, but not much is known about the plot beyond the official synopsis, released in October 2015. It reads:
"It's always difficult to be Harry Potter and not much easier now that he was an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three children of school age.
"While Harry grapple with the past that refuses to stay in his place, his youngest son Albus had to struggle with the heavy legacy of the family she never wanted As past and this fuse scary, father and son learn the truth uncomfortable. Sometimes, darkness came from places that are unexpected. "
This book will comprise a play of the same name which opens in London this summer. Play, which bills Pottermore as the "official story in the eighth Harry Potter canon," is a new story with Rowling, the writer Jack Thorne drama and theater director John Tiffany.
Publisher Little Brown said the book will be released on July 31, after the official premiere of this drama, which is set for July 30.
For generations of readers, the book recalls the announcement Wednesday in anticipation of fever, endless speculation and campouts morning in the parking lot bookstore, waiting to snag a copy of the latest Harry Potter installment.
This time, the digital edition of the Cursed Children will be published simultaneously with the printed copy, so parking will not be necessary surveillance. For diehard fans, who - like Harry and Co. - now an adult, it's possible.
This means more energy for anticipation and speculation.
